The Udall Foundation regrets that we are unable to offer the Ph.D. Fellowship in 2012. We hope to be able to offer the Fellowship again in 2013. These pages are currently for information only.

The Foundation encourages applications from Ph.D. candidates in all fields of study whose dissertation topic has significant relevance to national environmental policy and/or environmental conflict resolution, and who are approaching their final year of writing the dissertation

If you are interested in applying for a Udall Fellowship:

• Familiarize yourself with the eligibility requirements, fellowship conditions, and selection criteria;
• Have committee approval for your dissertation prospectus;
• Have a feasible timeline for completing and defending your dissertation;
• Contact the Foundation if you have questions concerning the application.
