Michelle M. Henry
University of Virginia

Michelle is a second-year student in Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia. She is interested in the connection between human health and the environment and how the environment affects the growth of developing countries. Hoping to one day become an environmental science professor, Michelle has begun researching the effects of climate variability on diet and anemia in South Africa. Outside of the classroom, Michelle is involved in Student Council’s Environmental Sustainability Committee, Alternative Spring Break, and serves as president of her class. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys eating out with friends, eating in and watching girly TV, and jogging to class to work off all she has eaten and because she’s probably running late.
