Savannah S. Smith
Savannah is a junior majoring in Environmental Science, focusing on Environmental Policy and Soil Science. She is president of the OSU Environmental Science Club and an active member of ECO-OSU, a grassroots environmental organization dedicated to increasing environmental awareness. Last year, Savannah served the Student Government Association as Vice Chair of Athletic Recycling, and hopes to see OSU's campus embrace sustainability. She spends most afternoons in the environmental soil chemistry lab where she conducts research. At the end of the day she loves eating Thai food with her grandfather, traveling to Central America, riding her bike, and attending local arts and craft shows with her best friends.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
