Carissa C. Buchholz
Carissa Buchholz will be a junior studying Natural Resources and Environmental Management with a focus on renewable energy. She is minoring in Spanish and Energy. Carissa hopes to pursue graduate school and work with wind or solar technology in the Midwest. She is the president of Students for a Sustainable Campus Club at Ball State University, where she also co-coordinated a Focus the Nation event. During the summer of 2008 she will be doing a research project on solar energy for the Louis Stokes Research Program, which is run through the National Science Foundation.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
