Ryan P. Emerson

Ryan Emerson is a 5th year senior in Landscape Architecture at the Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Civic and Community Engagement. He is interested in improving the lives of individuals and communities through sustainable landscape architecture design, and has worked on community beautification projects through Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. He also participated in the National Solar Decathlon Competition. Ryan is actively involved in the Penn State community, whether it is the Friday Night Nursing Home Ministry or teaching Sunday school. Ryan enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking. When inside, he enjoys reading, weaving, and playing guitar.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
