Kerry L. McCarthy
Ursinus College

Kerry L. McCarthy
Kerry is a Junior at Ursinus College majoring in French and Environmental Anthropology, a self-directed major focusing on the intimate relationship between culture and environment. She is an active member of Sustain UC, a student-run group that fosters sustainable living practices on campus. This past year she has been working to develop a composting system for Ursinus. When not seeking to recycle "waste products" from the cafeteria, Kerry is active in theater and greek life. She loves music, camping, and laughing with family and friends. This semester she is in Senegal studying desertification's impact on life and how this is manifested in Senegalese art.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
