Meghan D. Mooney
Santa Clara University

Meghan is a third-year Applied Anthropology major, focusing on Environmental Health. She was the Communications and Community Outreach Coordinator for her university's 2006-2007 Solar Decathlon team. She founded an outreach program, the Sustainability Decathlon, which challenged local high school students to compete against one another to best "green" their campuses. Meghan is currently researching the culture of sustainability on campus as an Environmental Ethics Fellow and member of the Sustainable Living Undergraduate Research Project. When she is not exploring the world on public transportation, Meghan can be found rock-climbing, working as a part-time librarian, and looking forward to studying public health and community welfare in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil next fall.
