Cecilia H. Gobin
Cecilia Gobin is a sophomore at the University of Washington majoring in American Indian Studies. A member of the Tulalip Tribes, she looks forward to a career in American Indian law and serving as an attorney for her tribe. Dedicated to her tribe and community, Cecilia is passionate about the protection and advance of treaty rights and tribal sovereignty. Cecilia is also committed to the preservation of her tribe’s culture, taking an active part in tribal traditions and ceremonies, and is enthusiastic about educating others as she travels to communities, schools, and organizations speaking on and sharing Tulalip culture. Cecilia resides on the Tulalip Indian reservation, is a lifetime commercial fisher-woman who enjoys family, community, and cultural events, playing the piano, wakeboarding, and going to the beach.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
