Zindziswa L. McCormick

Zindzi is a rising senior at Brown University. She has combined a concentration in economics with extensive coursework and involvement in the Environmental Studies department, where her particular focus has been on sustainable design. Zindzi helped found the campus group, emPOWER, which has been a major force behind Brown's recent move to embrace innovative projects to green their campus. On the national level, she has worked with the Sierra Student Coalition, developing and running trainings for emerging climate activists across the country. She likes to squeeze in baking, yoga, and crossword puzzles whenever possible.
