Ryan A. Jones
Emory University

Ryan is a rising senior at Emory University in Atlanta. He is double majoring in environmental studies and physics and hopes to work with renewable energy. Ryan's passion for the environment began at a young age while camping and traveling with his family. Today Ryan is president of Emory Environmental Alliance and one of the leaders of Atlanta Students for Sustainability, a student organization which engages the community to promote social and environmental sustainability. This summer he will research solar panels at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado. In his free time Ryan likes traveling, playing sports, and going on adventures.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
