Genevieve C. Leet
Genevieve is a returning Scholar from “K-College” where she designed her own environmental studies major. She is interested in using the creative arts to address environmental issues in an engaging way. As an environmental spoken-word poet, Genevieve has performed across the nation. An avid adventurer and ecologist, she believes in inspiring conservation by helping others connect to nature, often by leading out-door education expeditions. She just returned from six months in Thailand where highlights included backpacking between mountain villages, deeply generous host-families, studying reef ecology in island archipelagos (by kayak), and doing ethnographic research on her career interest: ecotourism.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
