Jeremy S. Dertien

Jeremy is a junior at Colorado State University majoring in fish, wildlife and conservation biology with a focus in invasive species management. He has volunteered with National Wildlife Federation as the youngest habitat steward in the organization’s history and with Texas Master Naturalists on urban wildlife habitat creation and environmental education. While interning with The Nature Conservancy, he lived and worked at Phantom Canyon Preserve in Northern Colorado eradicating invasive plants. Currently, he is in New Zealand studying the invasive species issues of the country. Jeremy loves the outdoors and getting others excited about our natural world.
