Todd A. Nelson
Columbia University

Todd is a sophomore studying earth and environmental science and American history, with a focus on climate change and its societal effects. His current work in environmental studies includes research at the CU Earth Science Lab studying natural climate change and coordinating the CU EcoReps, an environmental activism group. He is interested in pursuing climate change mitigation strategies and developing sustainable public health strategies for a changing world. He loves running, biking, and playing basketball in Columbia's depressing subterranean gym, in addition to cooking and hanging with friends on long hikes.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
