Lesley S. Joseph

Lesley is a rising senior pursuing a major in environmental engineering and a minor in environmental studies at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. He plans to pursue a PhD in environmental engineering. He currently works as a research assistant, trying to find innovative ways to bring clean water to the developing world. He also works with local community groups to assess their vulnerability to environmental hazards. On campus, Lesley is the president of Engineers without Borders (EWB-USC) and works with Students Advocating for a Greener Environment (SAGE). In his free time, Lesley plays tennis, watches sports, and reads books by inspiring people.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
