Kelly C. Northcutt
Kelly is a junior environmental ethics and policy major at the University of Portland in Oregon. She is the creator and president of the Native American Club on campus and is also involved in the student garden, streambank restoration projects, and volunteering with a local nonprofit called Growing Gardens. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, swimming in fresh mountain streams, sleeping under a roof of tall cedars, and sledding with the neighbor kids in the winter. This summer she will be a crew leader for the Community Youth Corps in Steamboat, Colorado leading kids in environmental service activities, camping and building trails with them.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
