Cheryl A. Mattucci
University of California-Los Angeles

Cheri’s educational goals stem from her experiences while living at Lummi Reservation, with the lineal descendants of Chief Seattle. While in the Longhouse, she had her epiphany to return to school. Cheri is attending UCLA and is pursuing her degree in American Indian Studies. Cheri plans to get a master's degree in environmental ethics and a PhD in environmental anthropology. She will write a bachelor’s thesis comparing the Northwest Coast Indians with the Iroquois, concentrating on their ecological paradigms within their Longhouse traditions. She plans to work in a university to advance policies for the benefit of Native Americans.
