Sarah J. Wurzbacher
Allegheny College

Sarah is a junior at Allegheny College, majoring in environmental science with a focus on ecology. She is minoring in chemistry and creative writing. Sarah lives in the forest and studies the forest. A defining summer of dendrochronological research on subalpine species of the Colorado Front Range followed travels around the United States, Ghana, and Italy, and preceded a semester abroad in Lancaster, UK. Her most recent adventure was at a sustainable development fish hatchery in Bosnia and Herzegovina this September. She has been known to sleep in portable hammocks even when beds are available and spent her entire last paycheck on a very, very good bottle of balsamic vinegar.
