Jennifer M. Rowe
Jen is a junior environmental science major who plans to pursue a career in climate and energy policy. Her recent environmental work has included co-founding and running the Winter Blitz, a weatherization campaign for low-income houses in the Northern Berkshires, MA, organizing the Climate Justice Fast campaign at her college, conducting a GIS study and forest-use survey for an NGO in the Indian Himalaya, researching environmental awareness in the Tibetan exile community, and directing a renewable energy project in a Buddhist Nunnery in Ladakh, India. Jen can often be found running in the woods, eating up fresh powder on skis or a board, or curled up reading in the sun.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
