Blair S. Braverman
Colby College

Blair is a junior at Colby College, where she studies environmental policy and creative writing. She is interested in issues of environmental health and justice in the circumpolar regions, and has curated exhibits on these topics for the Jensen Arctic Museum in Monmouth, Oregon. She believes in using writing as a tool for environmental activism; her essays have appeared in or received honors from national and international publications, including High Country News and The Atlantic Monthly. Blair first became interested in the environment while working as a dogsled guide in Norway and Alaska.
