Emily is a junior at Northwestern University pursuing a major in anthropology and a minor in environmental policy & culture. After a semester in China studying the country's development in an environmental context, she is now trying to master the Spanish language while researching public participation in environmental policy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon her return to Northwestern next year, she intends to continue her work on campus as the Academics Chair of an environmental student group and co-leader of an initiative to establish a revolving loan fund for sustainability projects. Before she returns to the US, she hopes to learn to tango and attend a rowdy game of futbol.
