Mike is a junior environmental justice & conflict resolution (self-designed) and political science major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While his early interests focused on science education and biological research, his concentration has shifted toward domestic and international environmental policy. Climate change mitigation and adaptation in the developing world is his most recent area of work, and he will be spending his summer investigating this further with the Center for International Forestry Research in Indonesia. Mike enjoys photography, being outside (hiking, biking, various other sports, etc.), cooking, traveling, random conversations, reading, and singing.
