Ellaine J. Talle

Ellaine is a student at Skyline Community College and is working towards her electrical/environmental engineering degrees. She is president of the Society for Advancing Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) chapter at Skyline. Ellaine is part of her school’s first Environmental Service Learning Initiative where she runs water/energy conservation audits under the CalGreen Building Standards Code, and is involved in engineering projects such as constructing a wind-powered generator. She will complete an engineering internship at NASA this summer and aspires to work in power generation and energy efficiency. She enjoys playing piano, sketching, solving riddles, and being involved in the community.
