Michelle A. Coe
University of Arizona

Michelle is a geography major at the University of Arizona. She works as a USGS student research assistant studying Southwest grassland fires and soil erosion on the Goldwater Air Force Site. Michelle is a member of Gamma Theta Upsilon Geography Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Michelle has worked for Lake Mead NRA, where she learned that in the future, she would like to work for a National Park studying GIS, cultural resource-use, and natural resource management. Her goal is to influence resource management policy in developing countries so as to aid in sustainable National Park use.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
