Maggie is a biologist and beekeeper. She spent her spring semester studying bees in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China, and France. During the summer, Maggie works at the Minnesota Bee Lab. She is head hiveminder of the University of Puget Sound apiary, and she also serves as editor-in-chief of the campus science magazine. Maggie aspires to address environmental issues through sustainable beekeeping. She will collaborate with scientists and beekeepers for the preservation of pollinators all over the world.
