Sarah J. Walker

Sarah is Yup’ik and Iñupiaq Eskimo and a first-generation college student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). At UAF, she is pursuing two degrees in Alaska Native studies and rural development, with a Yup’ik Eskimo minor. Sarah’s concentrations are in Alaska Native law, government and politics, and tribal and local government administration. In addition to her studies, Sarah works part-time as the Festival of Native Arts Student Coordinator as well as staying active with over twelve UAF student organizations on campus, serving as the president for two clubs.
