Gretchen L. Stokes

Gretchen is studying fisheries, wildlife, and conservation biology with a Spanish minor at North Carolina State University. Inspired by her service as an educator at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Gretchen has focused her efforts to promote environmental stewardship on campus through leadership in the Student Fisheries Society, Sustainability Club, and College of Natural Resources. She has assisted with field research on stream fish in Puerto Rico and conducted primate and sea turtle conservation research in Equatorial Guinea. Her career interests include sustainable fisheries, environmental education, biodiversity, and cross-cultural resource conservation. Gretchen also enjoys sailing, traveling, and dancing.
