Allison J. Turner
Allison Turner is a student at Purdue University studying natural resources and environmental science and political science. She hopes to apply scientific knowledge of climate change to policy- and decision-making, helping diverse stakeholders overcome their differences and work together to mitigate and adapt to a changing climate. At Purdue, Allison strives to involve a variety of groups in campus sustainability. She participates in a variety of environmental organizations and initiatives on campus, interns at Purdue’s Office of University Sustainability, and serves as the student body representative for the Global Sustainability Institute. Allison has also studied renewable energy policy in Germany, and enjoys baking and spending time outdoors.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
