Rebecca M. Peters
Rebecca Peters studies international development economics and environmental science. As a Fellow of Berkeley Law's Human Rights Center, she will spend this summer in Bolivia studying the relationship between water and gender while researching for her thesis on the role of international institutions in shaping water management practices. Rebecca works at the Blum Center for Developing Economies and leads the Berkeley Water Group, a water, sanitation, and development think tank. She is an active athlete, and enjoys mountain climbing, yoga, and marathon training. Rebecca is also a Truman Scholar and will pursue a career shaping U.S. foreign policy for water security.

How can you describe a weekend of student leaders from across the U.S. with an intense passion to change the world? The Orientation was a phenomenal experience to meet and build connections that I'm sure will last a lifetime.
