Karla D. Bird
Blackfeet Tribe of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation of Montana
Karla Bird is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet tribe and is originally from Browning, Montana. Karla received a B.A. in psychology (research emphasis) along with a minor in Native American studies at the University of Montana. She has also completed an M.A. in school counseling at the University of Montana. As a school counselor at Napi Elementary, Karla is actively involved in the Browning Public School system and serves on the Graduation Matters committee, Attendance committee, Red Ribbon committee, District Emergency Plan committee, OLWEUS (Anti-Bullying program) committee, and the McKinney-Vento Act (Families in Transition) committee.
