Job Opportunity: Contracting Program Manager/Contracting Officer

The Contracting Program Manager/Contracting Officer (CPM/CO) is a senior position within the Udall Foundation's Finance and Operations team. The CPM/CO is the agency's leader for all contracting and interagency agreement activities in support of its Environmental Conflict Resolution and Education programs. The CPM/CO formulates and establishes internal policies and procedures for contracting actions, interagency agreements, and associated operational requirements, and makes strategic recommendations to agency leadership to ensure organizational excellence and effective management of contracts and interagency agreements. The CPM/CO reports to the Director of Finance and Operations and supervises the Udall Foundation Contracting Officer's Representative.

The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation ("Udall Foundation") was established by the U.S. Congress in 1992 as an independent executive branch agency to honor Morris K. Udall's lasting impact on this Nation's environment, public lands, and natural resources, and his support of the rights and self-governance of Native Americans and Alaska Natives. In 2009, Congress enacted legislation to honor Stewart L. Udall and add his name to the Udall Foundation. The Udall Foundation awards scholarships, fellowships, and internships for study in fields related to the environment and Tribal health care and public policy; provides assessment, mediation, training, and related services through the John S. McCain III National Center for Environmental Conflict Resolution; and partners with the University of Arizona to fund the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy and the Native Nations Institute. The Udall Foundation is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, with an additional office in Washington, D.C., and its operations and policies are overseen by a Board of Trustees.
