Job Opportunity: Executive Director

The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the Udall Foundation and is responsible for the overall administration of the Udall Foundation, including supervision of directors and general counsel; programs and contracts; budgets and purchasing; oversight and management of the Trust Fund; implementation of Trustee policies; and adherence to the laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the Federal Government that pertain to the Udall Foundation. The location is Tucson, Arizona.

The Morris K. Udall Foundation (Udall Foundation) was established by the U.S. Congress in 1992 as an independent executive branch agency to honor Morris K. Udall's lasting impact on this Nation's environment, public lands, and natural resources, and his support of the rights and self-governance of Native Americans and Alaska Natives (P.L. 102-259). In 2009, Congress enacted legislation to honor Stewart L. Udall and add his name to the Udall Foundation (P.L. 111-90). The agency is now known as the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation. The Udall Foundation's enabling legislation is codified at 20 U.S.C. 5601-5609.
