Amina Ly is an environmental science student at Northeastern University, with minors in both political and computer science. Her passion lies in the intersection of technology, sustainable energy usage, and urban resilience. She has completed multiple research projects in these areas. In the past few years she has had internships as a catastrophe modeler and as a data intelligence intern with the largest demand-response company in the world. She currently serves as a team lead with a local mentoring organization, DREAM, and as an undergraduate researcher at Northeastern’s Sustainability and Data Sciences lab. Outside of school, Amina can usually be found drinking tea outside or loudly talking about music.
