Nolan is a horticulture and global resource systems major at Iowa State University. With a focus on sustainable food systems, Nolan has worked in the perennial agriculture space through internships and volunteer positions, particularly with the Savanna Institute. Additionally, Nolan has a passion for international agriculture, serving as the national director for the U.S. chapter of IAAS, the world's largest agricultural student organization. Nolan hopes to pursue graduate school in agroecology, with a focus on perennial agricultural systems. Nolan enjoys hiking, baking, cooking, reading, and writing.
