Staff Bio

Elyse Magen is a Program Associate at the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation’s (Udall Foundation) John S. McCain III National Center for Environmental Conflict Resolution (National Center). She joined the Udall Foundation in Spring 2022 and will be supporting the Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee and other National Center projects. Prior to joining the Udall Foundation, Elyse worked for a D.C.-based nonprofit, Global Land Alliance, on land and resource administration projects in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Elyse also served in the Peace Corps, in the Community Economic Development sector, working with farmers to address the challenges of illicit crop substitution and the lasting impacts of Colombia’s civil conflict. Elyse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Tulane University.
