Scott Rimmer

Senior Accounting Officer

Before joining the Udall Foundation in December of 2023, Scott Rimmer worked for both the State Department’s Foreign Service and the National Park Service.

Scott’s assignments in the State Department included:

  • A tour of duty in the Office of Foreign Assistance (a Division within the Secretary of State’s office) overseeing both the State Department’s and USAID’s foreign assistance budgets for South America and the Caribbean region that totaled over $850 million in annual appropriations.
  • An Economics Fellow for the World Bank.
  • An Economic Officer in the Agriculture Division of the Economics Bureau.
  • Overseas assignments to Australia, Benin, Czech Republic, Honduras, Indonesia, and Turkey.

While with the National Park Service, Scott was assigned to Grand Canyon National Park as the Project Management & Logistics Branch Chief overseeing the administration of over $100 million in Federal project funds.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Applied Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in English from UCLA, and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Scott is currently certified as a Contracting Officer’s Representative Level III, and he previously obtained certification as a Federal Agreements Technical Representative (ATR).
