Berenice Chacon

Trip Leader | Stewart L. Udall Parks in Focus® Program

Berenice Chacon is a passionate wildlife enthusiast from Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources with an emphasis on Wildlife Conservation and Management. Berenice grew up with passions for wildlife conservation and connecting youth with nature. During her time as a Next Generation Ranger Corps Intern at Saguaro National Park, Berenice discovered a passion for photography, capturing stunning images of the park’s wildlife and natural landscapes. Berenice also served as a trip leader for the Youth Conservations Corps, where she led meaningful conservation work, environmental education programs, and outdoor recreation activities with youth groups on multiday camping and backcountry trips. She is excited to continue pursuing her passions with Parks in Focus®. When she is not exploring the great outdoors, you can find Berenice bouldering, exploring new places, and spending time with her friends and family.
