Meet our Interns

Stephanie M. Lefthand, Pueblo of Taos
Baylor University

Stephanie identifies as Taos Pueblo and as a descendant of Spanish settlers in southern Colorado. Stephanie is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work at Baylor University. She is a graduate of Fort Lewis College, an AmeriCorps VISTA alumna, and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings in Colorado and Texas. Stephanie currently works as a community health worker and interns at a local hospice agency. After graduating, Stephanie will assist urban and rural Native communities to expand home and community-based services, end of life, and long-term care options for aging, chronically ill, and disabled populations.
