What is Parks in Focus® – Our Team

Quincy grew up in Berkeley, California, located in the East Bay, where he had access to several different parks and beaches to explore. In 2013, Quincy joined his local boy scout troop where he developed his love for adventuring in the outdoors, building community, and educating youth. His favorite memories outside are spending his summers camping in the Eastern Sierras going on backpacking and canoeing trips. Quincy is currently pursuing his passion for photography and filmmaking at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and will graduate in 2025. His other interests include rock climbing, cooking, running, and bowling. Quincy’s mission is to empower youth voices through photography and storytelling to give them an avenue to share their stories, their communities, and the issues that matter to them. Quincy served as the Yosemite Trip Leader for Parks in Focus® in summer 2022 and is excited to continue volunteering with the program.
