Anna is an environmental engineering major at Syracuse University from New York City. She is passionate about preserving watershed health, protecting clean drinking water, and STEM outreach in her community. Anna does undergraduate research on organic micro-pollution from the waterways of Kampala, Uganda. As a 2019 NOAA Hollings Scholar, she will be working on groundwater hydrology in Alaska this summer. She serves as the President of the National Engineering Honors Society, Tau Beta Pi, and is an active member of the professional engineering sorority Alpha Omega Epsilon. She enjoys running, reading, going to school spirit events, and traveling in her free time.
