Grace E. Johnson
Grace is a second-year natural resources and environmental science major at Purdue University with minors in environmental policy and plant biology. Originally from Oklahoma, she is focused on preserving fossil water resources in the Great Plains through state-level policy development. She is also passionate about green infrastructure, has developed a white paper on state-wide green building policies in public schools, and advocates for adoption of these measures within her community. She is active within the Purdue Student Sustainability Council and works towards local climate action and reduction of textile waste. A Steven C. Beering Scholar, Grace intends to study environmental law following her undergraduate degree.
