David is a chemical engineering major who is eager to solve issues related to the climate change crisis, particularly in the field of designing engineering processes for carbon sequestration. Currently, he serves as the Senator for New York University's chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers as well as the Programming Director and Committee Chairman for the Urban Food Lab Vertically Integrated Project, along with other extracurricular roles. He also participates in various research efforts namely “Polymer Light Scattering and Light-Induced Crystallization” and “Worm-based Composting Systems.” In his spare time, David enjoys playing water polo, football, and taking care of his family’s dogs.
