Naomi F. Shimberg
Naomi is a junior at Yale University majoring in ethics, politics, & economics as well as energy studies. Her long-term goal is to coordinate the U.S. economic approach to climate change. During the 2021-2022 academic year, Naomi was a researcher in Yale’s Department of Economics and at Climate XChange, a non-profit focused on state-level climate policy. She has also worked in Rhode Island’s Department of Environmental Management. On campus, Naomi produces Pricing Nature, a podcast on climate economics, and leads the First-Year Outdoor Orientation Program. As a Rhode Islander, Naomi is connected to New England mountains, coastlines, and forests.
