Jessica is Oglala Lakota from Martin, South Dakota. She is a junior studying pharmaceutical sciences with minors in biology and American Indian and Indigenous studies at South Dakota State University. Jessica plans to pursue a doctorate in pharmacy followed by a pharmacy residency with the Indian Health Service in hopes of returning to provide care on the Pine Ridge Reservation. She is the secretary of her AISES chapter, the IPSF co-chair for SCAPP, and a student researcher studying the impact of pharmacist-led Medication Therapy Management Services on patient health and wellbeing in rural communities. She enjoys spending time with family, beading, playing volleyball, and playing games with friends.
