Steve is a wildlife biology and conservation major at Ball State University, where he is Vice President and now President-elect of the student chapter of The Wildlife Society. Steve volunteers in local land conservancy events involving invasive species removal and ecological restoration. He also works for the Land Manager of Ball State's Field Station, helping maintain a 17-acre on-campus tall grass and forested area. Steve plans to pursue a career in land management and restoration ecology, with a focus in community engagement and equity for Native American groups, ultimately making the wildlife field more welcoming and diverse.
