Julia is a double major in environmental studies-climate change and earth and environmental geoscience with a minor in ecology. She's passionate about understanding the biological and ecological processes of plant life to find ways to better support these processes. Her hope is that better supporting such processes, such as photosynthesis, will help mitigate climate change naturally. She is patent pending for a carbon sequestration device, and is looking forward to her 2023 summer research at Michigan State University through their REU bioenergy program.
