Zach is a political science major with an interest in identifying actions plans for environmental problems on an international scale. He was the architect of his university's ongoing efforts to establish a Climate Action Plan and currently serves as a member of the core planning team. Zach volunteers regularly for a local nature conservancy organization and completes ecological research on the Clark's Nutcracker in the local Mountains of Las Vegas to better understand the ways climate change impacts wildlife. In his free time he enjoys hiking, loves the ocean, and hopes to lead a career prioritizing sustainability in policy making.
