Who We Are - Staff & Volunteers

Ryan Dennis,
Tucson Trip Leader

Ryan is a 2016 graduate of Salisbury University in Maryland, where he earned degrees in atmospheric science and earth science, with a minor in athletic coaching. After graduating, Ryan traveled across the country, visiting many local, state, and national parks along the way. Eventually, he settled in Tucson to attend the University of Arizona for a master’s degree in atmospheric science. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running, hiking, camping, and hanging out with his little brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ryan’s love of the outdoors is rivaled only by his desire to give back to the community, which led him to volunteer with Parks in Focus. Becoming a trip leader has brought together his passions for environmental education, photography, and working with youth.
