Elani is an environmental science and sustainability major at the University of Montana. They are passionate about climate change, environmental justice, and ecological restoration. They strive to make a difference in the conversation around sustainability, whether it is planning for a sustainable future or leading student groups. Elani hopes to work in restoration ecology to undo the effects of environmental degradation, especially for underserved communities. Elani is also an LGBTQ+ and disability rights advocate. They love backpacking, rock climbing, tree climbing, dogs, and hula dancing.
