Dallas is an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribal Nation, studying English education and Indigenous studies and minoring in history. She serves as the President and Wacipi Chair of SDSU’s American Indian Student Association and the vice president of Chi Omega’s Xi Theta Chapter. Dallas also works in the International Affairs Office on campus as a student assistant, creating study-abroad programs focused on Indigeneity and encouraging Indigenous students to study abroad. She is dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth and reforming national education standards to be more accurate and inclusive of the Indigenous experience.
