Andrew is a mechanical engineering and computer science double major who strives to develop clean energy technologies. He currently conducts research that focuses on improving materials used in a solar thermal hydrogen generation system. On campus, he is the president of Duke Conservation Tech, in which project teams apply the skills developed in the classroom to identify conservation problems, create technical solutions, and understand their impact. Ultimately, he aspires to become a college professor and continue to conduct research for materials in clean energy. In his free time, he enjoys listening to and playing music and spending time outside playing sports.
